Anyway, today weather.com is calling for a 30% chance of showers on my wedding day. This outlook may change several times over the next week, but New York was just hit with a "monsoon" last night that had made it's way up the coast from Maryland. Said monsoon has inspired me to pull the trigger on a plan cooking in my brain for the last 2 years and take some precautions to ensure we can still enjoy the gorgeous grounds at the Pearl S. Buck Estate:

Not bad, right? I may even want it to rain on my wedding day now :) (sorta). My rain boots will come to PA with me (or maybe I'll use this as an excuse to buy those sweet yellow Hunters), and I have ordered 14 clear dome umbrellas for the wedding party from Rain Tec to arrive at my parents house on Thursday. Tut tut! It looks like we're ready for that 30% chance!
